Video Merge Online Free — PrivaTools

TL;DR: Upload 2+ videos and download a single merged video — concatenates in upload order.

Merge video files online for free — concatenate multiple MP4/MOV/WebM clips into a single video without re-encoding when possible. Free, no sign-up, no watermarks.

Video Merge is one of 179+ free file utilities on PrivaTools. The entire stack is open source under the MIT license, so the privacy guarantees can be audited end-to-end. You can also run all 179 tools on your own infrastructure with one docker compose command.

How to Use Video Merge

  1. Upload 2+ videos — MP4 / MOV / MKV / WebM, up to 500 MB each.
  2. Reorder if needed — Drag to set concatenation order.
  3. Download the merged video — FFmpeg concatenates the videos. If audio formats differ, audio is re-encoded to AAC.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do the videos need the same resolution?

PrivaTools resizes inputs to a common resolution (the smallest source). For pixel-perfect quality, pre-resize all sources to the same dimensions first.

What about audio-less videos?

Silent audio is added (anullsrc) for missing tracks so concatenation succeeds.

Can I add a transition between clips?

Not currently — clips are concatenated directly. Crossfade transitions are on the roadmap.
