Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 15, 2026

Your files are private. Server-side tools use isolated temporary storage and delete files immediately after the response is delivered — never kept in permanent storage, never inspected, never retained. We collect only first-party aggregate pageview telemetry, and Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control, local opt-out, and standard blockers disable the browser beacon.

1. Files You Upload

Server-side tools (Merge, Compress, OCR, etc.) hold your file in isolated temporary storage for the duration of processing. The moment the response is delivered, the file is unlinked from the temp directory; a cleanup task purges any stragglers every 5 minutes. No backups, thumbnails, or metadata are retained.

2. Client-Side Tools (Zero Upload)

Many tools run entirely in your browser: JSON / XML Formatter, Text Diff, Base64, Hash Generator, CSV ↔ JSON, Markdown ↔ HTML, JWT Decoder, Regex Tester, Timestamp Converter, URL Encoder, Word Counter, Color Converter, UUID Generator, Lorem Ipsum, Password Generator. The two browser-side AI tools (Summarize PDF, Smart Redact) download their models once from Hugging Face and then run inference offline.

3. What We Don't Collect

No accounts, no email addresses, no behavioural profiling, no advertising cookies, no remarketing audiences, no session recordings, no file metadata, no canvas / browser fingerprints. Just aggregate pageview counts through a first-party proxy.

4. Open Source & Self-Hosting

The entire stack is MIT-licensed at github.com/deadpoolrulesmarvel1-svg/privatools. If you don't want to trust our deployment, docker compose up --build runs the whole thing on your own server.
